The president & his caregiver
Who could have imagined that when Joe Biden was inaugurated in January 20, 2021, the United States of American would experience so many changes in 14 months?
Within hours of being sworn in, Biden signed more than a dozen executive orders to erase Donald Trump’s legacy from federal law and advance his own agenda.
Executive orders are directives written by the president to officials within the executive branch requiring them to take or stop some action related to policy or management.
Of the 17 executive orders Biden signed, in my opinion, these are the most crucial:
1. Rejoin the World Health Organization.
WHO instigated a global panic about the coronavirus pandemic and then changed course flip flopping during the Pandemic?
2. Set up a Covid office that reports directly to Biden.
In January, 2021, President Joe Biden contended there is “nothing we can do to change the trajectory of the pandemic in the next several months,” which is the exact opposite of what presidential candidate Joe Biden promised voters during the 2020 campaign.
3. Rejoin the Paris climate accords.
This agreement was costly and ineffective and wasted taxpayer money. Of course, John Kerry and the woke darlings are forcing Biden’s commitment to climate change. Read more here
4. Revoke the permit for the Keystone XL pipeline and cancel other Trump administration energy rules.
We were energy independent until Biden shut down the pipelines and put a freeze on new oil and gas drilling permits.
5. Halt construction of the U.S.-Mexico border wall.
Biden declared an immediate termination of the national emergency declaration that the Trump administration used to divert federal funding to building the U.S.-Mexico border wall, and ordered a pause on its construction while the new administration reviews the funding and contracts.
So, where are we now?
Biden has made American dependent on any country who will take his call and our money regarding buying oil. The idea of giving billions to Iran for oil while they chant death to America, death to Israel is unconscionable..
The gas prices are ridiculously high putting the middle class in debt to fill their tanks to be able to work and live. Joe blamed the rising of gas prices on Covid-19, then on the oil companies, and most recently on Putin and the war in Ukraine, which didn’t happen until Feb. 24. Gas prices have been going up steadily since Biden became president. More lies from Joe.
Inflation is 7.87%, the highest in 40 years. The Biden administration said it was temporary, but as we are all experiencing pricing going up and up, we’re being told that things won’t “get better” until the end of the year. Dream on, people!
Open borders have welcomed 2 million people since Biden has been president. These people are being deployed to cities all over our country. We are paying for their transportation, living expenses, medical, housing, education, etc. They were not vetted, masked, tested or vaccinated. What impact do they have on our health and our economy?
Climate control should take the back burner right not, but Kerry said he hoped that Putin, as he’s crushing Ukraine, doesn’t forget about the climate. Really, John? You and your AOC group should give it a break!
Jen Psaki, Biden’s press secretary, pledged that this administration would bring transparency and truth back to government. This administration has failed to be transparent and failed to work with both sides of the aisle. They have also failed in a big way to lead this country for the people, not for the Democratic party, by having Biden be used as Obama’s puppet.
P.S. Don’t get me started on Hunter Biden. That pathetic, lying son-of-a-prez will be addressed next week.
What has Joe Biden done for me lately. Absolutely nothing since taken office. Totally agree with you Nancy.
The best thing he’s done is force Putin’s hand by imposing huge sanctions on Russia and exposing the insane wealth of him and his political partners in humanitarian crime. There was a night in 1968 when I was thirteen and hosting a slumber party before school started up again. A Russian convoy of tanks and troop trucks was spotted heading west toward us in West Berlin. No one knew if they’d turn south to take Prague or continue west to take Berlin. My friends’ fathers were on their way to pick them up. Mom and I were pulling out our suitcases and getting ready to don black clothing and head to Tempelhof airport for evacuation, should they not turn, knowing Dad would have to stay behind and help his men destroy documents and surveillance equipment.
The convoy turned south to crush the Prague Spring. No one seems to even remember it. Putin was young then–he graduated with a university degree in International Law and joined the KGB. He was stationed in Dresden and worked as a spy in and out of Berlin. He’s always wanted to return Russia to its former “glory,” with his people subjugated and unable to learn the truth about what happens in its government.
Well said Nancy and thank you for the reminders about what transpired soon after he was sworn in.
Wow, that was whiplash-like.
Did he even get 20-30 seconds on his ”agenda” to eat lunch?
Changes happening so swiftly, it is as if he desperately needed to get the country back on a particular ”Agenda.”
He may have been aiming for 20-30 orders on his ”agenda”, but it does seem like it was 17 on the first day.
You’d think he could have addressed the people for 20-30 minutes about this ”agenda”, what he planned to do and why.
Even better he could have spent the first 20-30 days with an ”agenda” to devote a day to each order outlining the pros and cons one at a time, and getting the opinions of the people and asking the people for 20-30 ”agenda” ideas.
Moreover, taking 20-30 weeks to work on the ”agenda” would make it seem like there were no desperation involved.
‘Course, if he had chosen a 20-30 month ”agenda” time period, this could have been perhaps a smoother ride.
Maybe we ought to look back 20-30 years and ask what kind of ”agenda” was had back then.
Regarding a previous comment on here; it seems there is an attempt at building a strawman argument about the Prague Spring, Putin and Russia, which has nothing to do with the original outline presented.
Agenda 2030, artfully shown, I am wondering why this approach? Not anything but curiosity, as Agenda 2030 is well known to me.
Hi Nancy, I enjoy your forthright ways of communicating. Even willing to say Joe is, well, doing a horrible job. Yet, if the plan is to destroy America, which I believe is the plan, then Joe is doing great!

I have been reading the In My Opinion posts since its introduction to the newsletter. Though I totally agree that everyone is entitled to express their own opinion, I don’t feel that this site is the appropriate venue to do so. There are ample sites available for these types of dialogs. As a long-term professional in the industry, I strive to separate my personal opinions from my professional career. There is enough discourse in the world today. Can we not have it invade our professional business associations, please? Just my opinion.
As I have said before, but my comments were never published on this site, I don’t think this is the appropriate platform for political rhetoric. There is enough of that taking place on social media. I keep my professional career and my personal life and opinions separate. I wish my other professional colleagues would do the same.
I agree with Paul and hopefully my comment is not also deleted. We are all subscribed to know of design events for professional networking, not subscribed to a political echo chamber for years now. This is not FaceBook and should be kept as a professional networking blog and knowing about design events, not ranting weekly about personal political beliefs. Yes – this is your website and can do whatever you so choose, but again we subscribed for DESIGN not a political blog. We feel forced to stay subscribed due to the potential of knowing about events. Hopefully you can create a separate subscription for people who want to only read your political blogs and keeping design events separate. Thanks.
