HOME DESIGN CHAT WITH NANCY
Homeowners are wanting bathroom designs that make them feel relaxed and pampered offering luxury and technology. Lisa Riley, a consultant with Studio 41, joins Nancy to chat about what is popular for the 2023 luxury bath. If remodeling your bathroom is on your to-do list, you will learn what’s in and what’s in in Master baths.
Add these to your Master Bath Remodel project:
- The Bath Tub As a Focal Point (free-standing, unusual size and finishes)
- Walk in showers
- Shower seats
- Grab bars
- Seamless or frameless shower panels/doors
- Wet rooms
- Antique furniture used as vanities
- Bidets – as part of toilet
- Lighted mirrors (integrated in mirror or backlit)
- Metallic accents: brushed or champagne gold – mix metals
- Wall sconces
- Area rugs
- Plants – needing moisture/shade
Get rid of these:
- Medicine cabinets
- Pure white everything – use textures, could be in same tones, add some color
- Built in tubs
- The minimalist look
- Faux wood tiles on walls including showers
- Chevron pattern tiles & glitzy mosaics and busy pattern tiles
