Welcome to 2018! So now I guess I’m suppose to make a whole list of resolutions that I will probably never keep. And do you know why? The first big mistake is telling people what I resolved to do and, second, making the list in the first place.
35% of the people who make resolutions fail because they set unrealistic goals. 33% don’t keep track of their progress and 23% forgot about what they resolved to do or not do. The remainder said they made too many resolutions.
I went through a whole list of resolution ideas and found only a few that made sense:
- Think positive
- Laugh more
- Enjoy life
I’m certainly not suggesting that making resolutions is a stupid idea because we all need goals, but achieving those goals is your business.
Keep them simple and you won’t be disappointed. As Confusius says: “A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.”
Happy New Year to all,
