I agree, Nancy! Cabinets, appliances and I will add windows are key imperatives to a complete kitchen remodel! I am reminded of how it was aptly described to me by a valley-wide, well-known interior designer: these are as a dress worn by a woman or suit by a man. You’ll notice it first and foremost.
The “finish” would be ear-rings, bracelets, broaches, handbags, finger rings, pocket swatches, shoes, neck-ties & pins, Or as it relates to the kitchen: back-splash, counters, lighting & plumbing fixtures, drawer hardware, window treatments, ceiling fans, electrical faceplates…
Selecting the ‘dress’ is essential to the event/occasion, coordinating it properly will enhance the finished look!
