There’s no denying it! We are in the middle of the holiday season – right between Thanksgiving, Hanukkah, Christmas, Kwanzaa and New Years. It happens every year, and have you noticed that every year it seems to go faster than the previous year?
I wonder whose idea it was to bunch these holidays together. It’s great for the retailers, but really plays havoc on my schedule. Not that I’m a Scrooge, but getting anything done from now until January 2nd is a task.
I have some holiday music on to get in the mood of the season. By the way, is it politically correct to call it Christmas music? Got my little tree all decorated, and I’ll be making macaroons for our Designers Circle Holiday Party this Thursday.
My grandpuppies have no clue that during these holidays they might get a stocking filled with treats. Food is the same all year round to them, as long as they get it.
This year my goal is to have less stress, more relaxation, a glass of wine and chocolate to make the whole year more enjoyable. I’ll spend less time shopping for stuff and more fun time with family, as it should be.
Savor every moment and enjoy!
