I was actually amazed to see the technology offered by HunterDouglas when I attended the demonstration at the PSI New Home Center where Kim Mergen, rep for HunterDouglas, was the facilitator. The little remote control is operated with radio frequencies that will actually go through walls. If you are standing in the kitchen and want to open the window coverings in the living room or any other room in the house, just hit the button.
Of course, you can still use your arms to do this same thing, unless of course the windows are 16 feet above the floor.
You can open and close, raise or lower your window covering with this technology. They also offer sensors so the heat and light can be controlled automatically. Isn’t technology wonderful?
