I never thought I would experience the problems we are living through today.

Covid-19 was declared a pandemic in March 2020.  Since than there have been a little over one million deaths in the U.S and an estimated 15 million reported deaths worldwide.

In addition to this crazy germ turning our whole world upside down, there are plenty of other issues to challenge our lives, but we still don’t know if China is responsible for introducing the Corona Virus to the U.S intentionally or not.  In addition, there are controversies about the vaccines, boosters and masks.  Hopefully, someday we will find out the differences between fact and fiction.

Inflation at an all-time high of 8.3% since the 1980’s and has affected all of us. In November, 2021, Secretary of the Treasury, Janet Yellen, told us it was transitory and everything would be fine by June, 2022, saying “I think over the medium term, we’ll see inflation decline back to a normal level.”

According to Yellen, the current bout of inflation has nothing to do with the Biden administration or the Federal Reserve. She claims it’s the pandemic’s fault, saying, “The pandemic has been calling the shots for the economy and for inflation.”

She later changed her mind and said Putin was the cause of inflation “due to his choice to launch a war in Ukraine.” No Janet, that happened in February, 2022.  She’s wrong again!

Yellen is trying to convince us that inflation is a good thing. She even spouted that abortion is good for the economy.

We are now being told that prices are going up because people are buying stuff and that’s a sign of a strong economy, but just recently Yellen warned of stagflation, a period when slow economic growth and joblessness coincide with rising inflation.

Put this woman on The View with the rest of the self-proclaimed know-it-all idiots.

Because most of us live in border states, yes, all states could be called border states, the rise in illegals coming into our beloved country, along with drugs, crime, terrorists and sex trafficking are affecting all of us.

Did we ever think that the United States would have an open-door policy for anyone who wants to live in America?  My grandparents came through Ellis Island, followed the laws and waited like everyone else to be part of this great country.  There are many, many people who became citizens the right way and are very proud to be here.

No one in this administration has taken responsibility for any of the problems our country is experiencing.  Instead, they have become great at pointing the finger to anyone but themselves, and obviously have no solutions.

What happen to the America I used to know?
