Americans came together once again in the wake of a tragic event when bombs were set off at the Boston Marathon finish line on April 15, 2013. The long week following the tragedy was tense, to say the least, as thousands of law enforcement worked 24/7 piecing clues together to find out who was responsible for this heinous crime. Finally the puzzle came together as parts of the Boston area were in lock-down less than one week after the bombing. I would venture to say that anyone who is a caring human being was listening to the news, checking social media or watching live TV coverage as thousands of cops were looking for the suspects hiding out in the Boston area.
After killing the older brother, the manhunt continued for the 19 year-old suspect who was caught and then put in the hospital because he was injured. That’s what we do in America. I’m sure the suspect will get a lawyer and have a long, drawn out trial, and eventually spend the rest of his days in one of our prisons.
Since I don’t know these two brothers personally, I can only go by what I have been reading. According to their father, who moved back to Chechnya a year ago, his 2 sons were angels who were framed. I don’t think anyone believes this for a minute. But if these 2 kids were not happy living in America and felt they didn’t “fit in,” why not go back to their native land? When the older brother was questioned by the FBI 2 yrs ago for being “a person of interest,” why didn’t they deport him then? Why are we always one step behind these despicable people? Think about it! We now have to be searched before we fly, but the terrorists are smart enough to stay away from planes. One of their accomplishments is to inconvenience our lives and cause us great economic harm. They have a plan to bring us down and take over the world. We need to get rid of them before they destroy us.
